West Bengal Gatidhara Scheme 2025
Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has launched the Gatidhara loan Scheme to promote Self Employment Opportunities in the State as well as transport Service in the State. In this scheme the families with a monthly income of Rs 25,000 or less would qualify for financial support under the scheme. The transport department will interview applicants and draw up a list of eligible candidates. The labour department would provide the money, but the scheme would be implemented by the transport department.

Objectives of the Gatidhara SchemeÂ
- To generate self-employment in the Urban and Rural areas of the state through the promotion of transport services.
- To grant a subsidy to the beneficiary for purchasing any commercial vehicle.Â
- To Provide this Subsidy with Rate of 30% of the ex-showroom price of the vehicle subject to maximum of Rs. 1 lac.
Gati Dhara Loan Eligibility CriteriaÂ
- Applicant should be Enrolment in the Employment Bank of the Labour Department, GOWB.
- The candidate’s age must be between 25 and 45 years.Â
- Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC will be provided.Â
- Applicants’ family income should be less or equal to Rs. 25,000 per year.Â
- More than one member of the same family is not eligible for the scheme.

WB Gatidhara Scheme Apply Online
- Vehicle dealers are authorised facilitators for the Gatidhara Scheme.
- The applicant should submit his application with all the required documents.
- The application will be processed by the dealer of his choice.
- You will have to select a financier for the loan required for purchasing the vehicle.Â
- The Vehicle is to be registered within one month of receipt of the offer letter for permit and subsidy under the scheme
